I’m a writer and family nurse practitioner living in the Great Basin Desert in Nevada with my family. I’m the author of How to Grow a Baby: A Science Based Guide to Nurturing New Life from Pregnancy to Childbirth and Beyond (Roost, 2021) and Cycles: The Science of Periods, Why They Matter, and How to Nourish Each Phase (Roost, 2023).
